The Experience
So you’re thinking about booking a Boudoir Session… but you’re still feeling a bit nervous. Guess what?! Nerves are 1000% normal. In fact, almost all of my clients experienced being anxious and/or nervous in some way. Boudoir is an intimate portrait and self empowerment session and is an incredible gift to give yourself.
At Amanda Lynn Artistry & CO., we provide a luxury experience unlike anything you’ve experienced before. This is no average photography session! Here you get the full experienced. I only shoot one client per day in the studio, so that means you don’t have to share this space with anyone. This day is all about YOU! A day for you to get pampered, find the goddess within and leave with a new sense of confidence.
The Inquiry Process and before your Session
I handled ALL aspects of my business from top to bottom, from photography, to the behind the scenes handling emails and social media accounts!! We have a few rotating hair and makeup artists. Our entire staff is made up of female entrepreneurs, and I am so blessed to not only work and empower women within my community but to be able to support other women with their dreams. I speak with every client on the phone before booking a session to go over all the details. There's so much to discuss; from what's included in the session fee, the day of your shoot, your image reveal appointment, how to order products and so much more! I find sending this via email or text can be information OVERLOAD and that's not how I want your experience to start. Calls typically take about 10-15 minutes. Yup, that's it, wham, bam and DONE!
I will be here to guide you through the entire process, from what to wear, to hair and makeup, and especially how to do all of these crazy poses! Expect a number of emails from me including wardrobe and styling advice, dos and don'ts before your session and so much more. I'll also send a questionnaire so we can personalize your session further. If you have any questions before, during or after, send me an email and I'll be happy to answer.
The Day of your Experience
Sessions are taking place at my studio in Maple Ridge, BC.
Your session will start at 10am so hair and makeup can get to work right away. We typically start shooting around noon and wrap up by 2PM. After that, I'll send you on your way and get editing your images!
Once you're settled, our Hair and Makeup Artist will ask you some questions before she begins. We want to be aware of any allergies, preferences or anything else you want us to know so we can customize your look. We always ensure you are in love with your look before we move on to the shoot.
Once we begin shooting, I demonstrate every pose for you first, so you get to watch me do it all before you even try anything! I’ll show you exactly what to do, then when it’s your turn I will be coaching you every step of the way! From your hands to your feet and especially your face! I know how awkward it can be to be in front of the camera, but it really helps to have someone telling you exactly what to do, so that’s my job! I’ll also be showing you images on the back of the camera so that you can see right from the start like “Oh my god it’s actually working!!” That always makes you relax and start to have fun with it, which is definitely the goal! From there, every woman I’ve ever worked with turns into a super model rock star!
The next business we will meet via zoom to do your Image Reveal. Here we make sure you love your photos, pick your favorites and finalize the products you want to order. We do not offer online galleries or multiple appointments for your reveal, all ordering decisions must be made at your reveal appointment.
After your Reveal
Once we finalize your product order, it typically takes about 6-8 weeks to receive the products. I review each and every order to ensure you are getting the best quality. Once I approve, we'll make arrangements for drop off/pick up.

- Shoe collection with sizes from 6 to 10
